The visual effects were amazing, but the characters and story were cliche. The 3D was fun but distracting. I liked it, but didn't love it.

Star Trek

Loved it. Made Star Trek cool again and set it up for a whole new story.
Just had to include this photo of Will and his brothers!

Pretty funny. I really enjoyed Efron's performance.
I would have rated it higher if they'd left out the freaky promiscuous girls and the goofy best friend-principal relationship.

I remember being freaked out by this movie as a kid. I was surprised by the number of images I remembered while of the actual storyline I remembered very little. No wonder. Such a weird disjointed story. Still a little freaky.

The acting and the writing were superb. A fascinating depiction of a moment in history. Very thought-provoking.

Clint Eastwood carried this movie. It was a good story, but the rest of the cast nearly killed it.

Worth watching. A fun idea, but a bit predictable.

I think I'm in love. I'm a SAHM who doesn't have a car during the day and hates to make her poor commuting husband go anywhere after he gets home even if it's just to pick out a movie to watch together, so it is SO wonderful to have them show up in the mail. Plus, they have tons available online for instant download. It's not every movie you've ever heard of online, but it's a lot and totally worth it for the vast amount of television shows available. Check them out, browse their selection, try the two week trial. That's what we're during right now and I think I'm hooked.
PS We also took a look at the Blockbuster online rentals which we heard used to be better, but now they've added SO many restrictions to how many you can rent, how many you can return to the store, etc. that it's just ridiculous. Not to mention their site is SO not user-friendly.
